Troy brings experience constructing heavy highway and transportation projects with a focus on safety. He began his career in construction in 1988 as a carpenter apprentice and worked his way up through the trade to become a carpenter foreman. While gaining his trade experience, he went back to school to further his business management skills. His experience and education allowed him to excel as a project manager and eventually a sponsor. Troy joined Malcolm International as Director of Construction. In his role, Troy brainstorms, plans, and is involved in start-up operations, method analysis, work plan development, and allocating equipment and people resources with an emphasis on safety throughout all operations. Troy’s unique skillsets come from working on highly technical bridge construction, including cast-in-place segmental, cable-stayed, and girder erection requiring the use of launching trusses. Troy is also our leading safety professional with responsibility for developing, implementing, and training a work force that embraces an “Everyone goes home safe, every day” culture.
