Project Overview
The Trinity Place Project consisted of fabrication and erection of five levels of support of excavation (SOE) bracing consisting of walers, heavy pre-loaded cross struts, and re-shoring against an existing parking garage. The SOE and excavation extended approximately 66 feet below street level. As substructure concrete was completed the temporary bracing was removed sequentially. In addition to the bracing scope of work, Malcolm International also erected and removed a temporary crane trestle.
