Bull Lake Dam

Project Overview
The Bull Lake Dam Project consisted of constructing a new concrete spillway, earthen dams and removal of an existing spillway. The work included foundation prep for zoned embankment dams; earthen dam construction; secant pile cutoff wall; mass excavation; zoned backfill; extensive dewatering system; reinforced concrete spillway consisting of a labyrinth weir, sloped chute, stilling basin and baffle blocks; onsite batch plant; onsite screening and processing plants; construction of a new discharge channel, and complete demolition and decommissioning of the existing spillway. This project was constructed in a remote location of Wyoming within the Wind River Reservation requiring extensive planning and logistical challenges to deliver the project successfully.
